Health Inspectors use Active Ink to Manage Inspections

Broward Pics 002

The Florida Environmental Health Department is using Active Ink Software to manage their field inspections.  They are using Active Ink to design their forms and disseminate them to their field inspectors throughout the state.  The implementation will take 12 to 18 months and will involve up to 2,000 tablet PCs.  The electronic forms will support both pen and keyboard input, handwriting recognition and signature capture.  The data will then be synchronized with the division's master environment health database for updating their inspection records.
