This new tablet -- long awaited in the industry -- is finally beginning to ship. Priced between $900 and $1200 and coming with an OPTIONAL active digitizing pen to complement its touchscreen, this device promises to work well for those tablet PC customers who are looking for an inexpensive yet still workable option. Our early impressions point us away from the stripped down model at $899 and towards the versions with the active digitizing pens and higher RAM. Curiously, we've heard through the grapevine that Motion does NOT intend to offer a bump case with this model, as they have done with their popular LS and LE series devices. We'll see if that changes.
Anyway, as soon as we get our hands on one, we'll give it a thorough tire-kicking and post our impressions on this blog. In the meantime, you might want to check out our reviews of some other inexpensive tablets or check out this link to Motion's site for the CL900 : http://www.motioncomputing.com/products/tablet_pc_CL900.asp. You can order one from us or from any authorized Motion reseller.
